Robin West, PhD

Dr. West received her PhD from Vanderbilt University and completed postdoctoral work at Washington University. In 2017, she received the American Psychological Association Lawton Distinguished Contribution Award for Applied Gerontology. Most Recently, Dr. West developed the National Council on Aging Memory Matters Program. Dr. West has authored over 75 publications and two memory books:

  • Memory Fitness Over 40 Published in four countries 

  • Everyday Memory Clinic Workbook

Her awards and recognition include: 

  • Fulbright Fellow

  • Multiple Teaching and Mentoring Awards

  • 2007 American Society on Every Day Aging Mind Alert Award for her Every Day Memory Clinic training program
